Ascot Debut for The London Fanfare Trumpets!
Updated: Aug 5
We were delighted to be invited to perform at Royal Ascot’s prestigious King George Weekend, where our fanfare trumpeters added a touch of ceremony to one of the highlights of the British racing calendar.
Performing in traditional red tailcoats, our musicians played bespoke fanfares to announce the winners throughout the day, drawing on years of ceremonial experience, including previous performances at Royal Ascot during their military careers.
The specially commissioned fanfares, written by James Smith of Deer Park Studios, added a unique musical signature to the occasion.
Montanna Hay, Entertainment and Experience Co-ordinator at Ascot Racecourse, said:
"Mayfair Entertainment did an outstanding job providing the fanfare for our King George Raceday at Ascot Racecourse. They created and performed a bespoke fanfare for each race, and every performance was perfectly timed, adding to the excitement and atmosphere of the day.
The team was professional throughout, easy to work with, and delivered exactly what was needed. Their attention to detail and seamless execution made a real difference. I look forward to working with Mayfair Entertainment on future racedays!"
